A veil over the Bible and Christian Science? Yes. We believe that the attempt to institutionalize this great revelation has marginalized it from the world, and led to a self-destructive culture that is in no way aligned with the original textbook of Christian Science nor with the Bible. It is the purpose of this website to lift the veil, and present Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy in such a way that it speaks for itself.

The audio of the textbook presents a revelation that cannot help but stir the heart, for it contradicts so much of what the world accepts as “the way things are.”

The sincere seeker for Truth will be thrilled with the clarity of thought presented. It challenges the premise of traditional theology, and correlates to the Bible in a fresh, consistent way. It opens the door of possibilities, and heals!

The WellSpring Foundation was formed to present the revelation of Mary Baker Eddy , which she named Christian Science, free of institutional interference, and without interpretation. The Foundation commissioned Andrew W. Kidd to read and record the textbook, Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, authored by Mary Baker Eddy. As the author herself stated: “Science and Health does not need to be interpreted to those who are earnestly seeking Truth.”

Mr. Kidd was selected for his extraordinary reading ability, and his deep love and respect for Mrs. Eddy and her revelation. Son of an Anglican minister and a choirboy throughout his formative years, Mr. Kidd was thoroughly exposed to the Christian message, but not satisfied with what he heard and observed. When first reading Science and Health, he found the substance for which he was yearning, and even after many years, still finds the book both challenging and rewarding.

His exposure to “old theology” as well as medicine (mother nurse, brother medical doctor) has made him acutely aware of the context in which the textbook is written, directly addressing these areas of thought, as relevant today as it was over 100 years ago.
